Tonight’s game

23 players made it to the game for the evening.

H made a storming start – taking the blinds off his fellow players like they weren’t even there. [Hang on, sorry, I’m just being told…they weren’t even there. Okay.]

Liam was having the opposite problem. Coming back from, I dunno, I wanna say Bristol? his ETA was somewhere around 9pm.

With play starting proper, Gaz and Charles abandoned their usual tight and conservative game. Going at it in a 3-bet pot on a QT86A 3-heart board. Charles bets 1300, Gaz makes it 4300 and Charles folds. Gaz triumphantly shows the 72. Charles flips over 43. Lolz.

Gaz in the action again saw his AA beat Lee’s QQ. “Pretty harsh how often I haven’t had it tbf.”

Claire B exited soon afterwards. All-in with AJ vs the A9 (of TT?), the board comes 5687T. But the sliver lining was a trip to the vaaaalleys. I think this was the middle of Tony’s maniac all-in every hand session. 🙂

Liam finally appeared! He immediately raised. He immediately got shoved on. He immediately folded. It was quite a ride. (He exited soon afterwards in 16th.)

Loads of exits then missed I’m afraid – need better input into the Hand Submit group, guys!

Final Table

9th: Brian Yates

8th: Nic Rawlings – AIPF with TT v Steve’s AK, K on the river

7th: Mark England – all-in with TT (a good hand, right?) vs Kev’s AA (a better hand). As Adam P eloquently put it: “Tens am shit 2nite.” Well quite.

6th: Tod Wood – low on chios shoved with 68, called by Kev with A9, which held

5th: Dan Ryder

4th: Kev Berrie

3rd: H

2nd: Steve Healey

I have no details of the above hands, but I believe they all got Tony-ed. That’s right, whether he’s appropriately clothed or not, he’s back! Well done Tony on his 7th career win.

Tony had this to say on his win:

“I deserved it. I’m a world champion. Suck a dick, dipshit.”

Powerful words.

Game 5 on 7 September – it promises to be a scorcher!
