A new currant was on show for this one:
Early action saw Matt Wilson all in with 6T on the turn, the board being 26T9, called by Steve Freer with JQ and a K comes on the river. Rebuy for Matt.
Matt W lost out again this time to Tony Trippier with TT,KK on a TK79A board.
Tod was set to be massive chip leader with Matt Kay at risk holding AK vs Tod’s KK but the ace on the river restored a level of parity.
First break in our Vegas Megastack event. We have had 8 rebuys and 7 add-ons plus Steve Freer wins an extra 5000 chips for the high-hand (K-high flush) on the final hand of level 3! (No raise and Steve’s in the BB with 9c3c and checks his option, three clubs come on the board and one is a king!)
That gives us a prizepool of £2090 which will send the winner to Vegas.

A MASSIVE congratulations to BCPC legend Tod Wood on winning our Vegas Megastack event tonight. 9 runners managed to generate a £2090 prizepool and that will see Tod heading to Vegas to play the $1500 event in a 50/50 split with the other 8 entrants. He also gets flights plus accommodation costs in his prize.
