BCPC’s 100th Game! – Kev O’Driscoll Wins, Chris Baker 2nd, Hitendra Patel 3rd

BCPC Season 17, Game 4 – Friday 17 February 2017

Wow, the BCPC is 100 games old! Totes respect to the main man, Captain Bluebook Brian Yates.

And to celebrate we went all fancy dress – yeah dude! Plus there was a special tankard trophy thingy for the winner. Fancy!

You might just be able to see Liam as a Jedi on the left. Unfortunately, the Force was not strong in this one. (c) Nic Rawlings.

Tonight’s game

Well this joviality wouldn’t last – soon after, Tony’s QQ overcame Bri’s KK. He was knocked out not long after – his AK losing out to Mark England’s JJ.

In my book I have a lot of stuff written down, some of which I now don’t understand. They are:

  • Chris won one!
  • Jack v Adelaide Bull – got hand caught in cookie jar
  • Curry – ul Nic 2 (!)
  • Nic 2 low then 3P v TP
  • Jack out AK < AA
  • Kev O’D KK < Mooch AA (it obviously didn’t hurt him too much…)
  • TW JJ < H AQ rivered!
  • Chris = big stack = bully but drunk
  • 7432A

Anyhoo, despite Chris’s advanced state of refreshness, he still managed to come second (without much memory of it, I think). But it was Kev O’Driscoll who raised pretty much every hand who emereged victorious and took away the Tankard of Triumph.

Cash game

Awesome. I’m glad I’m doing shit in the league. Well, maybe not, but it’s a good consolation. 🙂

TWD is back – yay! People say Legion is weird but good (on Fox), so I’ll check that out.
